This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the Level 1 badge in Gardening.

Sprouts are food you can grow anywhere you have a small flat surface and a supply of clean water.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:

• Source and obtain appropriate seeds for sprouting. Not all commercial or home-saved seeds, even organic ones, are suitable.
• Create or obtain the equipment you need
• Grow at least 3 batches of 2 different seeds into sprouts
• Enjoy eating your sprouts

To document your completion of the BB, provide the following:

• Photo of sprouting equipment and 2 kinds of seeds before starting
• Photo of sprouts growing inside your setup – one photo per batch for three batches
• Photo of harvested sprouts as part of a meal
